On device storage

I have had my Omi for about a week and overall very satisfied with it. My only complaint is that I need to have my phone on me at all times in order for it to catch my conversations. I need to be able to walk away from phone and the device still catch all my conversations.

Maybe there is a fix for this already and I just dont know it yet?
