I have had my Omi for about a week and overall very satisfied with it. My only complaint is that I need to have my phone on me at all times in order for it to catch my conversations. I need to be able to walk away from phone and the device still catch all my conversations.

Maybe there is a fix for this already and I just dont know it yet?

    Hello,

    Omi does store recordings on-device when your phone is out of Bluetooth range. It saves audio to its internal flash memory, up to 24h of recordings, then syncs it back to your phone when you reconnect.

    So you can leave your phone behind. Your conversations will still be captured and will show up once you're back in range.

    To sync, just tap the cloud icon at the top of the home screen and hit Sync. After that, you can tap Process on the same page to get those recordings transcribed.

    The syncing process will be automatic soon! Give it a try and let me know how it goes.
