Feedback vs Other Options

I just wanted to let you know that I am testing Omi against Fieldy and Pocket. So far here is what I am finding.

The desktop and usefulness of the Omi is hands down the best of the 3. I find it highly capable and use it daily.

Where Omi gets beat, however, is transcription. Fieldy does an excellent job of word for word transcribing conversation and even recognizes the difference in things like music, a dog barking, water running.

Voice profiles is a weak area in Omi as it often creates a voice profile and labels it with words that are not names- ‘the’, ‘what’, ‘she’ that I have to clear out.

Battery life is another place whre Omi is not so great. I get 2 or 3 days out of my Fieldy, 3 or 4 out of Pocket but barely a full day out of Omi. Then I cannot charge it unless the device is on and listening so all night it sits there recording my snoring and then I have multiple audio files for no reason, lol.

I will continue to test but so far I really do prefer Omi over the others- just wish it did a better job in a few areas is all.
