Devkit2 Battery Drain when Disconnected

I've noticed that my device disconnects randomly, a lot. And if I don't notice it, I end up with like, several hours of recorded conversations stored on the device and a dead battery. I still have an 18 hour “conversation” saved to the device that I can't hope to transfer off. I'll have to pull the sd card and handle that manually. But yeah, the frequent disconnections seem to be associated with significant battery drain.
