Memory

n memory, I think there should be a subsection of things that “Jason likes” and it would go in there. You’d imagine that every time I access a memory, a counter would go up, so the system would know by the counter how relevant that memory is.For example, if something in memory only has a counter of one, then you’d know that’s not really that important, and maybe you’d want to lose that memory after, say, a year or so. But if the count is higher, then that would add extra weight to that memory.Maybe if I only access it once and it gets pruned, it could go into a file called “long‑term memory” stored on my phone. It would take more time to access, but it’s still accessible – like how sometimes you don’t remember something until you sleep on it.

    Memory

In memory, I think there should be a subsection of things that “Memorable” and it would go in there. You’d imagine that every time I access a memory, a counter, attached to that memory would go up, so the system would know by the number of times that memory had been accessed, how relevant that memory is.For example, if something in memory only has a counter of one, then you’d know that’s not really that important, and maybe you’d want to lose that memory after, say, a year or so. But if the count is higher, then that would add extra weight to that memory.Maybe if I only access it once and it gets slited to a file called long‑term memory (LTM - maybe even as a vector database) stored on my phone. It would take more time to access, but it’s still accessible – like how sometimes you don’t remember something until you sleep on it.

Good call, I’ve passed this suggestion to the product team to consider.

Great suggestion, Jason. It makes total sense. I passed it along to our product team for review.
