Always apply memory baselines

I’d like to store a personal context block (e.g., “I’m Jason, 55, in NZ, with a cerebellar tumour history, full truncal ataxia, extreme falls risk, use a recumbent pedal‑assist trike, etc.) that Omi automatically loads for every session and can optionally surface in my daily summary. I don’t want to keep re‑explaining my disability and mobility constraints; I want Omi to always operate with that as baseline context

    Memory loss - feature request

Omi isn’t reliably using the memories I’ve saved (like “how to treat Jason” and my core preferences). It only seems to apply them if I explicitly remind it each time, which is a burden and an accessibility issue for me.Feature request: Let me mark some memories as a “baseline” or “always apply,” and have Omi automatically load and use those at the start of every new conversation, without me needing to prompt it.

Appreciate you sharing this. Makes total sense. I sent it to our product team to review.

Hello, tks for your message. You could try adding this information as a manual memory so the AI can consider it when you chat with Omi.

You can also add a custom summary template using this information. Go to a conversation, tap the summary button at the bottom of the screen, and tap “Create a summary”. Add the prompt you want AI to use to generate your summaries, and make sure to add the info you want to be considered in every summary.

This feature is exactly what I wanted to request, as well. The custom template may be a partially functional workaround for a while, but it would require constant updating as new life situations are added to our memories. It also isn't very user friendly.
