I’ve used this a few times, and the person on the other end of the call complained of poor quality audio, saying my voice was rapidly cutting in and out. I hung up and called them back on cellular (e.g. not FaceTime Audio or another type of digital call) and they said the quality issues were resolved.
Any reason why the service this uses should degrade quality so much?
(Should I post a bug report on Discord instead?)

I tried this out works pretty well. However it only seems to be over speaker phone and you can’t enter any DTMF for prompts.
I didn’t have my omi muted for it so it picked up me speaking via the call and via the omi. Once I muted omi the call picked me up only once properly.
Thanks!

The keypad is now available in the latest version of the app for DTMF, and the speaker issue has also been fixed. Please try it out and let us know how it goes.

I think a screenpipe integration would be great too (another open source tool), when omi detects a meeting it can start screen pipe (assuming the meeting is on a desktp/mac) and then you have a video as well as an audio for the meeting

Can you enable the in‑app calling / call-capture flow on my account? 💪😎

I agree this would be a fantastic idea.
Similar to how on the macOS app, you can click record and it will record your mic and the system audio. I have used it a couple of times.
Being able to have Omi detect a meeting or phone call on your phone and send you a pop up asking you if you wish to record it.
If privacy is a concern, Omi could perhaps detect you are having some kind of meeting just by listening to the omi device and suggest it in a pop up, sound, buzz etc, and push and hold the notification to say yes, ignore it or swipe it away.
I also imagine the desktop app could do this as well, if it detects you having a meeting in some way, try a notification to start a recording, if you aren’t recording already.
This is just my stream of consciousness right here imagining up things. So just take this for what its worth 😅

Record phone calls as well as other audio conversations (slack, google meet, discord, etc) with the phone audio so it works even if i’m using my headset.
