Some info will be sent to api.omi.me
I get the message:
“Some info will be sent to api.omi.me”
When using OmiGPT on mobile, it’s annoying to have to confirm each time we send data to Omi, but if it’s needed it would be nice to tell users what “some info” means and perhaps use “chat.omi.me” or “OmiGPT.com” to look less strange to users who don’t know what is an “api”

Enhance Data Messaging and Privacy Options
1. Clearer Data Transmission Messaging:
• The current notification—“Some info will be sent to api.omi.me”. It would help to provide a concise explanation of what “some info” entails, ensuring users understand the data being transmitted.
2. Privacy and Data Management Controls:
• It’s essential for users to have the option to view, export, and delete the transmitted data.
• This functionality would enhance transparency, ensure GDPR compliance, and foster greater trust among users.

It’s also important to know and export/delete this info from the servers for privacy reasons and GDPR as well , i made separate FR for this:

@Collin Lowenburg just a heads up there's an option to select ‘Always Allow’
That should resolve this issue for you, but for some reason I don't see that in your screenshot.
I agree that chat.omi.me might be better for some people to feel more comfortable although APIs are becoming more familiar to people, it might be nice to have it more user friendly.
Too bad it doesn't just say omi.me to make it more clear
