Omi should allow users to initiate the creation of new tools and workflows so high-value ideas, like patentable concepts, can be automatically evaluated, structured, and transformed into reviewable artifacts in a single, coherent flow.

Users need a way to move from “I have an idea” → “I have a validated, reviewable artifact” without becoming domain experts or tool (app) integrators.

It should be:

Intent-driven, not command-driven

Progressive commitment (users can stop or redirect)

Uncertainty surfaced, not hidden

Artifacts over answers

Human-in-the-loop by default

This keeps the system powerful without risk of over-automation.

    Hi @Josh Matulonis our earlier response didn’t capture the full request. You’re asking for a guided flow where someone states an idea, reviews a proposed plan, can redirect it at each stage, sees the evidence and uncertainties, and approves a useful final artifact. That’s broader than creating an app or connecting existing tools, so we’re keeping it open for consideration. We don’t have a release date.

    For a first version, would a reviewable invention-disclosure draft with supporting sources, open questions, and explicit approval before any external action be the right artifact? We wouldn’t present that as a patentability determination.
