As a user who has accidentally deleted entire conversations and then immediately regretted it 😭, I’d love to see one (or all!) of the following features added to help prevent unintentional losses:
Conversations would go to a temporary “Trash” instead of being permanently deleted right away.
Trash could auto-empty after a set number of days (e.g., 7 or 30), or allow manual clearing.
This would offer a safety net for accidental deletions, similar to how most email and note apps work.
Right now, a slight swipe deletes a conversation with no warning — just a quick ¼ slide and it’s gone. ☠️
Please consider requiring a full swipe across the screen to confirm deletion, or a two-step action.
Some deletions prompt a confirmation… but not all? It seems inconsistent.
Please make confirmation always required for deletion. The extra tap is worth the peace of mind.
This is a small change that would save a lot of heartache for clumsy thumbs like mine.
Thanks for considering!
