Second OMI Not working

This is the second Omi I have received because the first did not charge correctly. This second one does not keep a charge over 10 hours and I maintain a 17 hour day. The reason for this post is I downloaded and updated my Omi with the latest firmware. As instructed, I turned the Omi off after the update. Now, the Omi flashed red and does not connect to the app. Help me to fix it.
