Having trouble accessing Omi device WiFi for file transfers. Where do I find the code?

    Hello, thanks for reaching out. Are you trying to sync offline recordings using fast mode (Wi-Fi)?

    If yes, it shouldn’t ask for a code; the app and device will connect automatically.

    Open the Omi app → go to the Sync page (cloud icon, where you see stored recordings)

    1. Tap "Sync via Wi-Fi"

    2. The app sends a command to the pendant to start its Wi-Fi access point

    3. Your phone connects to the pendant's Wi-Fi network automatically

    4. Files transfer directly from pendant to phone over that local Wi-Fi connection

    5. When done, the pendant shuts down its Wi-Fi and your phone reconnects to your normal network

    There's no code/password to enter — the app handles the connection automatically. If it's not working:

    Make sure your pendant is connected via Bluetooth first (blue LED)

    • Make sure you're on the latest app and firmware version

    • Try Bluetooth sync instead — it's slower but more reliable (Wi-Fi sync has known issues on some devices.
