Offline recordings get lost

This has now happened to be a couple of times, and it's pretty annoying because they were important meetings. I didn't have my phone with me, so I turned on Omi and it showed red light. Later on, when syncing, there was not an offline recording found from the SD card! 😔

Just lost two offline recordings yesterday (app store version). Does “Fixed” mean beta?

"Completed" status here means we received the report and forwarded it to the dev team, not that it's resolved yet.

The dev team has been working on offline sync reliability. Because we're a small team handling high volume, we can't announce every fix rollout individually.

Fixes typically hit beta builds first (TestFlight for iOS, Play Store beta for Android), then go through App Store review before reaching the stable channel.

If you want earlier access, join the beta program. Otherwise, fixes show up in stable builds within days to weeks after beta testing.

For lost recordings specifically, make sure you're on the latest stable build (Settings → About).

Appreciate your patience while we stabilize offline sync.

@Hugo A. I’m running the App Store version.

Since the Wi‑Fi transfer update, offline recording has become much less reliable for me. The Wi‑Fi transfer worked once, but now every attempt runs for a while and then ends with a “Processing Failed… code: 429” error. I can restart the transfer, but it always fails in the same way.

The most frustrating part is that after a failed transfer, the recordings do not appear in the app and are also deleted from the device, so they are effectively lost. I’ve already lost a couple of important discussions because of this. I had just purchased the annual subscription, which makes the situation even more disappointing, and it currently feels like I still need to run a separate recording device for anything important.

Is there any way to recover these lost recordings, and is a fix for this issue already being worked on?

Hello, sorry about the inconvenience. Dev team is aware of the issue and working on improving this experience. Keep your app updated so you can get the fixes when they're ready. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Hey, thanks for letting us know about this. Sorry for the trouble!

Which app version are you on right now? Are you running a beta build?

Just a heads-up that betas can be a bit buggy since we're still testing things out. That’s exactly why your feedback is so helpful, it helps us squash those bugs before the full release.
