Mute indicator

I would really like the LED to display mute status. Nothing crazy, just a simple colour change between the two states, or the LED switching off when muted (a colour change would be preferable).

Muted, connected: yellow

Unmuted, connected: blue
Muted or unmuted, disconnected: red

But that’s just a suggestion.

    Confirmation "Nudge" (Vibration/Light) for Mute Status

    Would it be possible to have a vibration/light cue (optional from the device settings), when the mute/umute is triggered? a few times I thought the unmute triggered, but it didn't, a nudge would be very helpful

    I would personally really love a small vibration nudge to know mute/unmute is toggled

    +1 would be helpful to see if the device is muted or not. Specially as the double-tap to mute/unmute is cool!

    Show Omi muted.

    I like having my Omi on me at all times. But to prevent it from picking up movies and some conversations, I prefer to push once for mute. I would very much like to be able to see when it's muted, for myself and people present. To me that is more important then a red led when disconnected.

    I see that this is now 8 months old but we still don’t have this feature. Is it coming? I either end up missing conversations or risk Fair Usage Policy violations because I don’t always have the option of unlocking my phone and opening the app to see whether it is or isn’t muted. This is a vital feature.

    Having been advised by Mohsin that the LED light colour is not going to be possible because the Mute state is controlled by the app. not the device, I suggest that vibration feedback be added instead. Two pulses as you mute it, one pulse as you unmute perhaps?

    Thanks, @Jonathan Lucas. Two vibrations for mute and one for unmute is a helpful suggestion, and I’ve added it to the existing issue. The pendant supports both lights and vibration, but neither is currently tied to confirmed mute status. We’ll update this thread when there’s a working solution.
