What happens Voice recordings captured in the macOS desktop app are transcribed and stored locally but never reach my account. Every session since 19:51 PDT on Sep 26 fails with HTTP 422. Nothing appears in the app — no conversation, no summary, no task — and no error is ever shown to me. Proof it is not my account, plan, or keys I recorded a 23-second note on the phone 30 minutes later. Same account, same night. The strategy flipped at 19:51:01 and never reverted — it survived an app restart. 47+ segments of real speech are sitting on disk, invisible. This is not quota exhaustion: that day's total capture was 26.8 minutes, and uploads succeeded at 12:01 and 18:34 the same day. Reproduction 1. macOS app → Settings → General → Audio Recording → Always On 2. Speak for two minutes, touching no key 3. Toggle Audio Recording off 4. Inspect transcription_sessions: a new row with backendSynced = 0 and lastError = "HTTP error: 422" 5. Nothing appears in the app; no conversation, no title, no summary, no task Reproduced twice, including a controlled test with a marker phrase ("…walnut seven") that is present in the stored segments but never reached my account. Why it matters Recordings are being silently lost. There is no alert, the Plan card still reads "Free plan active" with 0 / ∞ chat questions, and the only surviving copy is a SQLite file on my Mac.
