iOS-shortcut integration

Feature RequestsMacOSiOS

What if we had shortcut integration, so we could ask Siri to start a new voice recording hands-free without the Omi device. This would also mean that Omi could do a lot more Apple related things without the need for a whole ton of new integrations

Great timing this is now implemented in PR #19133. iOS Shortcuts includes “Start listening with Omi” and “Stop Omi,” using the iPhone microphone when no Omi device is recording. It can also be assigned to the Action Button or Back Tap. We’ll confirm once it reaches the public iOS release.

I second this, an Apple shortcuts Integration would be essential! This way the iPhone action button or double tapping the back can activate an on device recording.
