Multi-Mic Support (Omi + Phone/Lavalier)Idea: Allow Omi to work alongside the phone microphone (or external lavaliers) as a multi-source audio system.How it could work:•Omi acts as a dedicated "self" mic — always capturing the wearer's voice•Phone or lavalier mics capture the room/other speakers•Audio packets are tagged by source (Omi stream vs. external mic stream)•This removes the need for complex speaker diarization — you already know which voice is whichWhy it matters:•Better audio quality and coverage•More accurate transcription in multi-person conversations•Simpler, hardware-assisted speaker identification•Sync is a solved problem (lavalier systems already do this in hardware)Suggested implementation: Treat Omi as supplementary/self mic, phone as primary — minimises latency/sync complexity.
