The Omi desktop app already tracks focus and sends notifications like “that was peak energy” or reflection prompts. But these are silent banners that disappear quickly.
It would be great if the desktop app could speak these out loud via TTS — turning Omi into an ambient voice assistant on your computer.
Examples:
“Nice focus session — you were locked in for 45 minutes.”
- “Your energy dropped — maybe take a short break?”
- “You’ve been in back-to-back meetings for 2 hours straight.”
- “Great conversation — you asked really good questions.”
Plus proactive tips based on calendar/context:
“Your next meeting starts in 5 minutes.”
- “You haven’t taken a break in 3 hours.”
The app already runs in the background and has the data. It just needs a TTS layer on top of the existing notification system.
