App drains phone battery even with cloud transcribing

I'm currently testing Omi and Bee, each connected to their own app. The Bee app manages to remain below 1% of my battery usage while the Omi app uses 22%. This is while disconnecting from their wearable less often. Whatever they are doing different needs to be implemented here.
