API for Action Items

Action Items are a highly useful feature but are currently embedded within conversation entries, making them difficult to track and manage. Users need a way to access and interact with Action Items directly, separate from the larger memories context.

A dedicated API for Action Items would:

• Allow users to retrieve all Action Items in one place for better visibility.

• Provide functionality to add, update, and delete Action Items, making them more manageable.

• Enable integration with external tools or workflows to keep Action Items actionable and relevant.

Challenges

• No centralized visibility for Action Items: Currently, they are scattered across conversations, making it easy to forget or miss them.

• Lack of external integration: There’s no way for users to connect Action Items with task management systems or other productivity tools.

• Limited interaction: Users can’t directly modify or manage Action Items outside of the conversation context.
