What if the Omi had a luxury jewelry casing?

Like a silver/moissanite version (affordable but still premium) and a limited-edition gold/diamond version. The device would slide into the case like a watch movement, so it becomes a clean necklace pendant with the logo — looks like a fashion piece, not a gadget.

Why I think it could work:

  • It turns Omi into a status symbol (like a Rolex for AI).

  • Two versions would cover both ends of the market: affordable luxury + high-end exclusivity.

  • I know high-end jewelers in Miami/LA/NY would love selling something futuristic to clients who wear APs, Pateks, RMs, etc.

  • Influencers + YouTubers + Music artist would flex it naturally. (people who all naturally benefit from recording their thoughts + they have many important conversations with people where small details are critical to be accurately recalled due to the casuality from lifestyle mixing with business)

  • Virality factor

Optional twist: Limited diamond buyers could get early VIP access to the brain-device version, beta features, or member perks. Makes it more than jewelry — it becomes access.

A removable jewelry-style case could make Omi feel more at home in both business and fashion settings, and HollyAnn’s comment reinforces the appeal of a discreet, polished option. The slide-in design is especially useful feedback because it keeps the device itself separate from the styling.

    We’ll keep this under consideration, but don’t have a product or release plan to announce. If you had to pick one first version, would you prefer an understated silver-tone case for everyday wear or a limited-edition luxury piece?

    I love this post! 🤣

    I am not quite aiming for the “Rolex for AI” experience, but, at least something that looks a bit more appropriate for a business setting, like jewelry, instead of obvious tech. Omi blends a lot better than the limitless pendant but, if ya’ll ever came out with a snazzy cover, I’d certainly buy it!
