Sales shortcomings

I bought this to help me with my follow up off the back of sales face to face meetings, both with customers and with colleagues. After a day of usage here are my takeaways:

Conceptually it is great, a second brain that captures notes so I don’t have to waste energy trying to type and talk when engaging in fast past conversations with customers.

There are a few shortcomings that I think would be quick fixes but would provide an infinitely better experience.

1) mute changes LED colour: when I’m speaking to a customer (and I’ve done the whole - this thing is taking notes for me pitch) it is still unnerving. If there was a way that muting the device changed the colour so everyone knows it isn’t recording then it would help me get the info from the customer that shouldn’t always be written down.

2) too easy to turn on: I know the aim is to have it on constantly but it simply isn’t realistic in a sales environment. Annoyingly the device turns itself on with the smallest amount of pressure so I find myself recording conversations that I don’t want to be.

3) batter fluctuations as mentioned in other posts - after a day of light usage it seems to have totally drained the battery.

I have it for another week before cooling off period. Hoping the wrist strap helps with the turning on and off but yet to arrive.
